It’s been awhile since my last blog post, but I promise you: THINGS ARE HAPPENING. Here’s the lowdown on what I have coming up for y’all. I’m very excited for all this!
- Cocoalocks has shipped me their biotin (along with other vitamins) infused hot cocoa. I’m hopefully bleaching my hair again in the coming weeks, so this is much needed. I can’t wait to see the results!
- FH Wadsworth reached out to me for a collab. I’ve got two belts in the mail to style, and I seriously love their unique look! Can’t wait to show you guys the looks I come up with.
- I applied to become a ~Mirina Girl~ and was accepted! They’re sending me a black choker along with the necklace I picked out. I’m so excited to style this elegant piece.
- Influenster chose me to receive their 24K Nudes Voxbox! The wonderful Michelle is helping me come up with a look for you guys, inspired by the CollegeFashionista April moodboard. Keep your eyes peeled!
Whew! Ok that feels like a lot. I am SO excited, though! With that, here’s an outfit featuring a playful piece from H&M that I’ve been wearing a lot when it’s warm enough outside. It’s a button up overall-esque dress and I adore the structure of it. It’s so fun to pair different t-shirts under it to give it a different vibe. I just treated myself to a new iridescent shirt from Urban, so I think I’ll throw that under it sometime.
During my internship in New York a few weeks ago, the weather was a bit finicky. I threw my “You are my galaxy” t-shirt from Pacsun on underneath the dress. To avoid getting too chilly while wearing the dress, I wore my vintage fur hoodie, courtesy of my favorite vintage store ever: Urban Jungle in Bushwick, one of the L Train Vintage stores in NYC. It lends a much more ~lush~ vibe to the outfit, since the dress is rather playful.
The real details are in the socks and shoes, though. I had just been to Friends NYC, another favorite store of mine down in Bushwick, and I bought some sheer socks lined with white ruffles at the top. I’m honestly obsessed with them. I threw on my pink Adidas sneaks and that was it!
Oki, that’s it, friends! Lemme know how you would style this dress in the comments below! Or say something about something else, I guess.
